About the property

Currently under construction, Pacific Street Apartments is a 110-unit affordable housing community serving low- to moderate-income families, developed through a hybrid Low-Income Housing Tax Credit structure consisting of two coordinated phases, Pacific Street Apartments Four and Pacific Street Apartments Nine.

The garden-style development will include four three-story residential buildings and one two-story building housing shared amenities such as a community room, on-site manager’s office, computer lab, and laundry facilities, along with an outdoor children’s play area and multiple seating areas organized around a centrally located courtyard with barbeque facilities.

The project was made possible through collaboration with the City of Rocklin as the selected awardee of a Surplus Land Act Request for Proposals, with the City retaining site ownership through an 87-year ground lease. In conjunction with the residential development, Community HousingWorks plans to develop an adjacent parking facility with a goal to include electric vehicle charging stations to support sustainable transportation options.

Pacific Street Apartments is designed as a fully electric community and is targeting GreenPoint Rated Platinum certification, reflecting a commitment to high-performance building design, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, water conservation, and long-term operational sustainability in alignment with California’s climate and decarbonization goals.

CHW’s mission aligns with their commitment to the community in Rocklin which is to forge stronger futures through quality design and resident-centered services. Programs that will be provided to the residents are Financial Well-being, Next Generation Success, and Health and Wellness.
