Sue Reynolds Valor Scholarship Program
Awarding high-achieving Community HousingWorks residents who want to pursue post-secondary education
Each year, Community HousingWorks awards the Sue Reynolds Valor Scholarship to high-achieving residents living in Community HousingWorks homes who want to pursue post-secondary education opportunities. The Sue Reynolds Valor Scholarship is for students of all ages and can be applied to community colleges, four-year universities, career and technical certifications, GED programs, military education, and more.
Valor scholarships can be used for education-related expenses, including tuition and fees, room and board, transportation, books and school supplies. Applications are reviewed and evaluated by a committee comprising staff and volunteers.
The application period for 2026 is now OPEN.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION:
Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific
Scholarship eligibility:
Must be a current resident of a CHW community
Must be a high school senior or older
Must be using the scholarship funds for the 2026-2027 school year
Unfortunately, ConAm, Related, Mercy, and Mayfair staff are not eligible to apply.
