We extend our sincere thanks to KPBS for joining us to celebrate and spotlight the opening of Jacaranda on 9th in downtown San Diego — a transformative new affordable housing community designed to provide stability, dignity, and hope for residents.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, resident Isabelle Fuentes shared a heartfelt reflection on what the community means to her: “When I moved here, I couldn’t believe it. It was a dream.”

Jacaranda on Ninth represents what can be achieved when communities come together to address housing affordability and homelessness through compassion, collaboration, and long-term supportive services.
