We’re proud to share that Community HousingWorks (CHW) has received a 2026 grant from the SDCECO: San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO). These funds will provide much-needed books for our Study Stars Afterschool Program—supporting literacy development and bilingual learning for the youth we serve.

We’re especially excited to see our After School Program Manager, Tannia Montesinos, representing CHW at the award ceremony as we celebrate this meaningful investment in our students and their futures.

CECO awarded nearly $109,000 to 87 community programs across San Diego County this year, marking an incredible 70 years of giving back and supporting local nonprofits.
