Ways To Help

Housing Needs in Temecula

Temecula is a beautiful city that is located in Riverside County. It is even considered as a tourist and resort destination. However, just like other areas, Temecula is also now experiencing problems related with homelessness. Homelessness was not quite common in the previous years in Temecula. Now, residents are very familiar with this problem. The city of Temecula has done major efforts and a comprehensive approach to solve this problem and to further improve the quality of life.

Affordable Housing in Temecula

Affordable housing plays a vital role in helping to solve the problem with homelessness. How? Simply by providing housings that are affordable especially to those who have a low income. Affordable housing does not just provide a home/shelter to many who are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of owning a home or renting, it also improves quality of life and provide jobs, financial stability, and access to various resources. Furthermore, affordable housing creates sustainable communities. Though there numerous affordable housing that has been built and developed, there is still indeed a shortage of affordable housing to meet the demand.

Community HousingWorks (CHW) is a non-profit organization that is nationally recognized for being an organization that develops, rehabilitates, preserves, and operates affordable apartment communities. We have built affordable communities in San Diego and throughout California. We go beyond just building and developing affordable communities. At CHW, we provide powerful programs and access to services, connections, and resources. With these tools, we have helped numerous individuals and families achieve financial stability, improve their health and overall well-being. With the help of many people including donors, CHW now owns over 3,600 apartments in 42 communities and is currently serving more than 9,00 families, children, and seniors. CHW just continues to add more. We are proud to announce that Las Haciendas will soon rise in Temecula. The estimated start of construction is 2021 Q4. CHW will continue what we do to make this world a better place to live in.

Indeed, there are still many people who are living an unstable life without their own home in Temecula. The kind of help that we provide is not possible without the help of our generous donors. Through great donations, CHW is more capable of providing individuals and families a place to call home. If you would like to help in fulfilling our goal of helping families, children, and seniors, your generous donations are greatly appreciated.
