Ways To Help

The capital of California, Sacramento, is most known for its developing culture. It is also considered to be the most hipster city in California and the fastest-growing major city in California. With many fun activities to do such as Sacramento Historic River Cruise, Downtown Historical Food Tour, Sacramento Brew Bike Bar Tour. The median home value in Sacramento is $362,000. Sacramento is not only diverse in terms of cultures but also in the architecture that you get to see. Some styles of residential architecture that you will see in Sacramento are: Colonial Revival, Minimalist Homes, Bungalow Homes, Prairie Style, and so much more.

The Power of Helping

With many types of residential architecture to choose from, still not all people can afford to buy a home due to many possible reasons. In reality, some take it for granted having a home while many are struggling to afford one. Janet, one of the 200 residents of North Santa Fe Apartments, has stated “it was a blessing for them to call me because it was a huge need at the time. Affordability was a huge factor; part time is not enough money. There’s a reason that I am here.” North Santa Fe Apartments is one of the development projects of Community HousingWorks. It is a transit-friendly, family rental development situated in downtown Vista which is just across from the Sprinter train and bus station.

Community HousingWorks, a nonprofit organization that develops, rehabilitates, and operates affordable apartment communities in San Diego and throughout California, now owns over 3, 600 apartments statewide and serves more than 9,000 working families, children and seniors. Community HousingWorks (CHW) has operated since 1988 when it was founded. Chw has worked hard to provide home stability and opportunity to all of its residents. Aside from what was mentioned, CHW includes powerful programs, services and connection to resources which becomes essentials tools to help residents attain financial stability, improve health, and overall well-being. The unique approach of CHW has helped its residents achieve success.
