Workforce Development

Our Learning Centers offer a variety of information on many aspects of job searching and career advancement. Resources include: resume writing tools, interview skill builders, information about available education and upcoming classes. Visitors to the center will be assisted by the Community Building Coordinators.

Family Asset Building Clubs (FAB Clubs)

These clubs are a free ongoing 1.5 hour Family Asset Building presentations to strengthen knowledge on financial topics and provide tools and support to reach self identified goals such as saving for college, retirement, insurance, paying down debt, establishing or rebuilding credit, preparing for the tax and holiday season and many more.

Civic Engagement

CHW is committed to the belief that affordable housing can improve and revitalize communities.  By offering leadership and advocacy training in the communities where we own housing, we ensure the success of affordable housing, the revitalization of the community and neighborhood engagement. Some programs include: The Neighborhood Civic Leadership Program and the Leadership Academy.
